Our Founder's Story 🍎

Hello! I’m Mai, a passionate educator who has always been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students. My journey in the field of education began years ago, and I’ve had the privilege of working in various roles, each contributing to my growth as a teacher and my understanding of what truly matters: my students' success.

After earning my teaching credential, I became a reading intervention teacher, where I quickly noticed a critical issue. Our Response to Intervention department lacked sufficient funding to provide the necessary resources, including effective reading programs and educational tools. I was determined to bridge this gap, so I began creating my own materials to support the students in my care. I realized that when it comes to providing the best for our students, sometimes it’s not about what we have, but how much we’re willing to go above and beyond to make it happen. Even if that meant using my own funds to create resources that would help students make meaningful connections to their learning, I was all in.

Now, as a 2nd grade teacher, my dedication to providing the best education for my students continues. I still find myself creating learning materials to connect all the various concepts we explore in the classroom, ensuring that every lesson supports their growth. Through this process, I’ve realized that if I, as a teacher, am struggling with these challenges, so are many others. Teachers and parents alike often face similar barriers when it comes to providing quality, engaging resources for their children.

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to create high-quality materials that teachers and parents can use both in the classroom and at home. These materials are designed to link the learning in a meaningful way and help close the educational gaps that students face. My goal is to make sure that every scholar has the opportunity to succeed, no matter their starting point. Education is a partnership, and I’m here to provide the tools that will help both teachers and parents create an environment where students can thrive.
